DT Project #1 by Minxy, Featuring:

Hay Snazzy Folks
As you know we are working with a truly STUNNING collection this month.
I am totally in love with all the papers and ended up using every last scrap from the kit bar a few flowers!!
The main bulk of that went on this, my first of 3 projects i'll be sharing this week.

I knew as soon as we were told about the kit that I wanted to make a mini-book of some kind, but by the end it wasn't so mini after all lol

It started as a book but evolved into a little case when I added the handle and clasp.
I choose the 'Cartouche' paper for the cover as it is easy on the eye whether your looking at it vertically or horizontally.
***
Now I know your all gonna wanna see this in more depth, so not to disappoint {and so I don't make this a mammoth post with hundreds of photo's} I have made a little UTube for your viewing pleasure.
ENJOY

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you are inspired to get out your papers and create something.
I'll be back again on Wednesday with my second offering..
Till then Stay Inky

Hi Minxy, this is just gorgeous, love all the elements you added and love those papers - a lot. I did wonder all the way through your video how you put the book together so thank you for explaining it at the end - so useful. A beautiful project and fabulous video too. A x

WOWSERS!!! This is totally fabulous and amazing!!!!! Loved the video and don't beat yourself up about waffling, lol, I thought it was really clear. Not ever made a mini quite like that, but really liked the accordion idea and how you showed it.So simple and so clever and much easier that Laura Dennison's stack the deck... I think this must be my all time favourite project of yours and one of the coolest minibooks I have seen anywhere! Just adore all the different pockets and nooks and crannies. Love the idea of the little case and handle too. It's all so imaginative!

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant mini... every shape, size and possibility of pocket and hidey-hole and flap - gorgeous! I'm already in love with the Engraver paper, but wowzers you've made them look even better... a really fabulous project. And a great video too - lovely to see it all in action... and you made the accordion folds perfectly clear, I thought. Fantastic!
