DT Project #4 by Minxy: Featuring:

:7DotStudio 'Dreamer' papers
:Creative Expressions 'Ticket' stamp set

Yep it's me again with yet another project.. I know I know, I got a wee bit carried away this month what with it being my first week on the team an all.. You've been very spoiled for sure and the funs not over yet..
Today i'm sharing a little mini book created from a single piece of the 'dreamer'12x12 paper.
This particular paper sheet is entitled 'sleepless'.
I've used a selection of my photo's and embellished with Tim Holtz and 7Dot 'Dreamer' die-cuts, bottle tops, 'Dreamer' stickers and the creative expressions 'Tickets' stamped and cut out for added dimension.
Now usually this would be the bit where I tell you how I made it but not today!!!
Nope today I have actually made a little Utube Vid to go along with this project which you can watch HERE
I do a quick flick of the book in the vid for the nosey among you lol
For my closing tie I used a bit of plain white lace that I actually coloured using Distress Stains.
And because the lace was fairly elastic I found when I had finished the book I could fit a mini pen down the spine.
Don't you just love a happy accident!

I'll be back tomorrow with my final project this month..
All I can say is it's something to go with today project, So I hope to see you back tomorrow!
Till Then..Stay Inky

This little book is FAB-U-LOUS!! I'm really loving your designs for Snazzy. I watched the video, which will be a huge help to me when I have a go at making my own book.

O wow Nicky, you have been busy! Think this is my favourite project so far, brilliant! Love how the colours of your died lace tie in with the colours of the paper, and yep, happy "accidents" usually are the best...
Off to watch the video now

Sorry I'm so late commenting Nicky. My visiting grandchildren have sort of commandeered my time (and energy more like it) for the past few days, lol! They don't go home till tomorrow but after seeing Val's tweet I just had to come online tonight to check out what you've been up to and boy was it worth staying up for ;o)! What a fantastic little book and your video tutorial is brilliant. I have to have a go at this as soon as I can. Thanks for your hard work or was it hard 'play, lol!
