DT project #2 by Claire - featuring Kaisercraft Art of Life

Hi everyone,

Claire here again to share my second project using the Kaisercraft Art of Life DT kit.

Today I want to share a little ATC book I made:

I created my project by cutting two ATC size pieces of kraft card.  I stamped the film strip edge stamps all over the ATC's using second generation Orange Blossom archival ink to create a muted background.

Next I torn sections of the Art of Life papers and added them to each side of the ATC's.  I then added various elements from the kit to the ATC's - I coloured the butterflies using distress markers.  There are so many wonderful elements in this kit - keys, butterflies, flowers, dominoes and some lovely sentiments too.

I edged all the ATC's with Potting Soil archival ink then used my crop-o-dile to add two eyelets to the left hand side.  To finish I attached the ATC's together into a little book using some of the lace from the kit.

Thanks for stopping by this week - leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning these lovely Art of Life papers!

Don't forget to pop back next week to see what Lucy got up to with this lovely kit!

Claire xx

Great idea using the orange ink on kraft for the background stamping I always tend to go too tone on tone but this contrast looks really fresh xx

Your little ATC book here is soooo beautiful. Funny how these small cards is suddenly blossoming up everywhere again now after they´ve been out a bit for a while, but they´re certainly getting in the spot again, I must say and your book here is amazing.

An ATC book is the perfect way to display special quotes or pieces of poetry so with the gorgeous Kaisercraft products it is ideal. Love what you've done with them here Claire!
