Design Team Project #2 Featuring Kaisercraft ....

Morning everyone, today I am back with my second project of the week featuring the gorgeous Base Coat Collection from Kaisercraft.

To create the tag background I started by using a Size 12 Black Tag from Ranger then mirroring a slightly smaller tag using the "Whitewash Cardstock" from the Base Coat Collection. I then added some stamping by using the Clear Flutter Stamp using Archival Ink (Jet Black).

I then layered a strip from the reverse side of the "Whitewash Cardstock" onto the inner tag. Next I die cut hearts using a Sizzix die, again using the "Whitewash Cardstock" and adhered with 3d foam to add some dimension.

The "Words" are Kaisercraft Secret Admirer Clear Stamps (also included in this months kit) which have been stamped using Archival Ink (Jet Black). I then mounted the tags onto some recycled  corrugated cardboard and randomly drybrushed Stone Fresco Paint.

I will be back over the weekend with another make using this collection. Until then ....

I was just going to say the Whitewash design from the collection is one of my favourites but to be honest I think I could say that about them all. They really are a great set and I love this hanging piece you've made. The contrast in colours is goorgeous and set against the cardboard they look fab. The stamps are great too. I especially like the use of the twine at the bottom.

Gorgeous colours and textures, love the whitewashed feel with the partial stamping added to the currugated cardboard. The warmer colors add a great contrast. Fab project, Judith xx

There are certainly a couple more details to take into consideration, but thank you for sharing this information.
Good luck getting people behind this one. Though you make some VERY fascinating points, you're going to have to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what we've already heard. What are trying to say here? What do you want us to think? It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought. Anyway, that's just my opinion.
