<br />
as you know we were given the paper line of Save the Date by Teresa Collins. i love the feel of this paper, it is ridged or something.. a texture paper but yet not... you NEED to get yourself over to Snazzy's and pick up a kit or two!!!<br />
<br />
so for my final project i created this:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinhwvowdFNqX2M6bRdJbXoDZ1zr6AEgSCS8MCSGXlUuY2ZjUKM8N4tj-SxKkBYy35ybmdWDn1V3JqYkEfyfI0PnI1nTyAXg6Jt-I1lXByPljbLXPKorgn0iOTd2GbKWkJ7NP8JaRVEQtA/s1600/IMG_1080.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinhwvowdFNqX2M6bRdJbXoDZ1zr6AEgSCS8MCSGXlUuY2ZjUKM8N4tj-SxKkBYy35ybmdWDn1V3JqYkEfyfI0PnI1nTyAXg6Jt-I1lXByPljbLXPKorgn0iOTd2GbKWkJ7NP8JaRVEQtA/s1600/IMG_1080.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
but pictures will NOT do it justice so once again i created a short little video to show you the inside of the cute little album.<br />
<br />
<br />
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="270" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/-SCk9od5PB4" width="480"></iframe>Dianahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13292613063999055112noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720282595193525796.post-51940364580003344362014-04-28T01:45:00.000+01:002014-05-01T19:27:59.049+01:00DT project #1 - save the date canvasi absolutely had no idea where this project was going. all i knew was that i wanted to work on a canvas.<br />
little did i know it would take me to one of my favourite projects in a long time<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgH8jv-5Z0JWiMK7HduPYsU1PP2mJhoitUo28WoPDCQ-nQj6HdSSbV4SXNWsF19ujdB8eQIowahs4150meFpzm4ALKR7hcYMaYauX5k4fv4g7lYmHkyMxL0Ys1WTVmP3BpJyGRGXBKOOO4/s1600/IMG_1065.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgH8jv-5Z0JWiMK7HduPYsU1PP2mJhoitUo28WoPDCQ-nQj6HdSSbV4SXNWsF19ujdB8eQIowahs4150meFpzm4ALKR7hcYMaYauX5k4fv4g7lYmHkyMxL0Ys1WTVmP3BpJyGRGXBKOOO4/s1600/IMG_1065.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
it was so much fun to play and mix and match products<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidoEbSDw8ckwiCUBCZd-GbCpp7bFQUO6EaK3uFW5o2dtzAdDXI05U7o0l9Aj4C6DD8va3MW-MdHOcw_RGsMTZ1eWWi7KQWqbtQ7OkwyHN_qDeh7OMja41MbO1Q2-S52kS7yLtWoql_mHo/s1600/IMG_1064.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidoEbSDw8ckwiCUBCZd-GbCpp7bFQUO6EaK3uFW5o2dtzAdDXI05U7o0l9Aj4C6DD8va3MW-MdHOcw_RGsMTZ1eWWi7KQWqbtQ7OkwyHN_qDeh7OMja41MbO1Q2-S52kS7yLtWoql_mHo/s1600/IMG_1064.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
and make it into something other than just a canvas<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPkDCSCv88hkjnNxNwmh5_luHl2dG8L5LffxGn4ebmtDt69X0ck6-udNFrBH_1wwptovTvgMXiIsDZ2iS4jNJpmUEzRYbi3LZZe-_cIkLcmOTxNlyyJqwtesArdsmX3uKqHiC1RRe73XY/s1600/IMG_1066.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPkDCSCv88hkjnNxNwmh5_luHl2dG8L5LffxGn4ebmtDt69X0ck6-udNFrBH_1wwptovTvgMXiIsDZ2iS4jNJpmUEzRYbi3LZZe-_cIkLcmOTxNlyyJqwtesArdsmX3uKqHiC1RRe73XY/s1600/IMG_1066.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
and taking the time to add little details<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hi, Lucy here with my third and final make with the Teresa Collins' Save the Date Collection. I decided to make a little book with pockets, etc which the bride-to-be could carry around with her to make notes for her wedding preparations and keep business cards of possible florists and photographers and have as a keepsake afterwards. I covered all the chipboard pages with a selection of the beautiful papers and inked the edges. The book rings and the book plate on the cover were silver so I coloured them with a black alcohol ink pen and a green gilding wax. I stamped the 'Forever For Always Love' wording from the clear stamp set onto one of the papers and placed it behind the book plate and added the glazed brads from the collection. I chose this particular paper for the cover so that the book plate could be positioned in one of the frame settings of the design. I stamped and cut out some flowers from patterned paper to go top left on my cover and used some of the lace we were sent on the book rings. As you can see in this picture, the book has tabbed dividers which are named The Dress, The Cake, The Photos, The Food, The Music, and The Flowers.<br />

<br />
Here are a couple of examples of the inside pages. This one is for information about the photographer. I randomly stamped all over with words and added some butterflies and a dove. I stamped some words inside the frame from the clear stamp set in Coffee Archival and added this bottom right. I cut the 'Picture This' section from one of the pages and folded the edges inwards to make a pocket and inked the edges and glued this down and added some of the strips from the Ephemera pack.<br />

<br />
For the Cake page I randomly stamped all over again and made a faux wedding cake out of a sticker and some Ephemera pieces with pillars from pieces of the paper collection and added the Bride and Groom from the Prima Something Blue Wooden Icon pack.<br />

<br />
Hi Lucy here, with my second make with the beautiful Save the Date collection. I decided that my bride needed a clipboard to take with her when she goes to appointments to arrange her wedding. I painted the edges and the metal clip with Fresco Finish paint in Mermaid. The paint covers the metal perfectly without chipping! I added papers from the range front and back including the black and white strip from the title bit of one of the 12 x 12 papers. I stamped the wording from the clear stamp set, 'I love you more than there are stars in the sky and fish in the sea' in Onyx Black Versafine bottom left.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I added the ric rac we were sent to the clip and made some more matching Core-dinations sanded flowers, some with the flowers from our kit in the centre and some with the glazed brads from the Teresa Collins' Save the Date collection. To finish off, I stamped a butterfly onto one of the pink Save the Date papers.<br />
<br />
I will be back on Friday with my final make.Lucy Edmondsonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13609965205013187625noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720282595193525796.post-53721154439518881642014-04-21T07:00:00.000+01:002014-04-21T07:00:01.645+01:00DT Project No 1 by Lucy - Featuring Teresa Collins' Save the Date<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hi, Lucy here, with my first make using the beautifully romantic 'Save the Date' kit by Teresa Collins. I decided to use the papier mache heart I had left from one of our previous Snazzys kits and painted it with Fresco Finish in Mermaid to match the duck egg blue of the papers. I then wrapped the silver and white ric rac from our goodies around the twine hanger. I covered the front of the heart with the paper called 'Ikat' which I stamped with the damask stamp from the clear stamp set using a peppermint ink pad. I then stamped 'Just Married' and 'Forever For Always Love' in Coffee Archival. They are lovely quality stamps!<br />
<br />
Here's a view of the back where I stamped the paper all over with the 'Forever' wording, using some secondary stamping.<br />

<br />
Returning to the design on the front, I wrapped the beautiful lace we were sent across the heart and glued it in place and threaded the end through the gorgeous diamante ribbon slider also in our kits. This provided a backdrop for the bride and groom wooden figures from the Prima 'Something Blue' icon set. You can just see in this sideways view that I have wrapped some 'Save the Date Decorative Tape' around the heart to neaten it off as I decided to get some of this too as I love this set so much!<br />
<br />
I also bought a Teresa Collins clear stamp set called 'Tell your Story' which co-ordinates really well and stamped the butterfly in Coffee Archival onto a scrap of the Ikat paper, which I tucked behind the roses I made from Core-dinations cardstock and sanded. I popped the peppermint flowers from our kit in the centre, and tucked an arrow from the Ephemera Pack underneath.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed this, and I will be back on Wednesday with another make.<br />

I trimmed the paper to shape then added it to the hanger using multi medium, I then sanded away all the rough edges to create a nice, smooth finish.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4kmzuyiKT1c/U0xL0OlxIUI/AAAAAAAABb4/r1LTLwCkjdo/s2048/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-4kmzuyiKT1c/U0xL0OlxIUI/AAAAAAAABb4/r1LTLwCkjdo/s500/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" id="blogsy-1397509105151.1267" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="834"></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"> The texture on the paper is just beautiful - it really looks like fabric and has a lovely heavyweight to it.</p><p style="text-align: center;">So next I tore around the sentiment panel which was included in the paper pack and I also tore a slightly larger pierce from another sheet. I distressed the edges of both pieces with the edge of a pair of scissors and also folded and bent the corners around a pencil for a curled effect.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uM2lQSErXiE/U0xL3S3fo9I/AAAAAAAABcA/G9mOKYD10Zw/s1672/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uM2lQSErXiE/U0xL3S3fo9I/AAAAAAAABcA/G9mOKYD10Zw/s500/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" id="blogsy-1397509105112.3523" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="500" height="686"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><p style="text-align: center;">I added a piece of the wonderful lace that came in the kit this month before layering up the torn paper pieces on top of the hanger. Then I also added a couple of the brads from this collection also.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="line-height: 1.3em;">At the top of the hanger I added another sentiment - this time it was part of a sticker strip that came in the paper pack.</span></p></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-IogRcZPbdSk/U0xL62YuZvI/AAAAAAAABcI/6_bET9VKar4/s2048/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-IogRcZPbdSk/U0xL62YuZvI/AAAAAAAABcI/6_bET9VKar4/s500/Photo%25252020140414215713.jpg" id="blogsy-1397509105194.8333" class="aligncenter" width="500" height="954" alt=""></a></div><p style="text-align: center;">To finish the back of the hanger I added one of the little Prima wood embelishments on top of the lace.</p><p style="text-align: center;">Thanks for joining me today here on the Snazzys Desigh Team blog!</p><p style="text-align: center;"> </p><p style="text-align: center;">Love Claire x</p><p> </p><div style="text-align: right; font-size: small; clear: both;" id="blogsy_footer"><a href="http://blogsyapp.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://blogsyapp.com/images/blogsy_footer_icon.png" alt="Posted with Blogsy" style="vertical-align: middle; margin-right: 5px;" width="20" height="20" />Posted with Blogsy</a></div>Clairehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02433246364814612453noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720282595193525796.post-6047385592647432562014-04-12T08:00:00.000+01:002014-04-12T08:00:00.452+01:00DT Project #3 by Minxy<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Here I am as promised with another crafty make... And as you can see, again there is not a hint of wedding to be found.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What can I say, I started off with the plan to make some wedding cards but this idea took over and practically made itself.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAAtoPTDQD5KdJRSDBrXjA-kD_CeM0jKJbsKuHdKhSkLIevzueiuhZ4t1tFAWtrG9WAWKdgy-TEbkAjPwVo1S-1Aj3R4aRA9YtL9rl_hPVVf7XuHXpncbHnHkOmTTbCQC0TNvBnGv7Qorp/s1600/page3a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAAtoPTDQD5KdJRSDBrXjA-kD_CeM0jKJbsKuHdKhSkLIevzueiuhZ4t1tFAWtrG9WAWKdgy-TEbkAjPwVo1S-1Aj3R4aRA9YtL9rl_hPVVf7XuHXpncbHnHkOmTTbCQC0TNvBnGv7Qorp/s1600/page3a.jpg" height="630" width="505" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I actually started off with the 3 cut out sections from the last project!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I cut 1 in half lengthways</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Left 1 whole and the last I cut 2 side sections with a piece let over.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijo3OsHFpNDpyFZOjSNgaoltYUvBy5Kv-FPtPMQ4una9Xw1CXAtRN8hJZ9ssOzp-WVfIjhinToPYRsABay-Qkfw7Z3ptqqTq6QACuustQrsU5gniPocwkaTfWjrHfn8qnbqYf4r8A-So9o/s1600/page1a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijo3OsHFpNDpyFZOjSNgaoltYUvBy5Kv-FPtPMQ4una9Xw1CXAtRN8hJZ9ssOzp-WVfIjhinToPYRsABay-Qkfw7Z3ptqqTq6QACuustQrsU5gniPocwkaTfWjrHfn8qnbqYf4r8A-So9o/s1600/page1a.jpg" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I assembled, taped and created a box shape.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I covered all the edges with Tim Holtz tissue tape.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I cut 4 side panel strips of the '<span style="color: #6aa84f;">the details</span>' <i>SD1002</i> paper</div>

<span style="color: #6aa84f;">Featuring Teresa Collins 'Save the Date' Collection.</span></h3>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hay Snazzy Gang</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Boy these rotations seen to come around quick, I can hardly believe we're in April!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now for my first project I wanted to steer away from the whole 'wedding' thing<br />
and this is what I came up with.<br />
This is step by step so you can make your own if you want.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4JxCFrUVQMZzxXWPHdhygIgg0Hrn8A9q8Kkm5DUQGQE9gdUbxOHtMt-g4IpUv_rl4Vk0_G18sZ2Vg9IGPUfrRloj4osV2v7K6ldq_L2q2sDr6Sj70nlJePiUifJR1RcbLU7JJJSui54oy/s1600/20140406_12x.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 0em; margin-right: 0em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4JxCFrUVQMZzxXWPHdhygIgg0Hrn8A9q8Kkm5DUQGQE9gdUbxOHtMt-g4IpUv_rl4Vk0_G18sZ2Vg9IGPUfrRloj4osV2v7K6ldq_L2q2sDr6Sj70nlJePiUifJR1RcbLU7JJJSui54oy/s1600/20140406_12x.JPG" height="508" width="540" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Start with a kiddies 5½" Square 6 page hard book, remove all the printed surfaces.<br />
<br />
*******<br />
<br />
Cut sections from the 3rd, 4th and 5th page. {any size you like as long as you have a decent edge to glue, I used a template about 4"x3"} </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi6SjE3-UbbbN-5ClVPwpqRJEEkCIxPbn4W-tr9Ucrm0PsdltkobHze5Brodhdqxpbdh_Et2zKn9AnX-_Md7LZkQfWP7_vQurm6OLK7u_AdA9tMgbcBCF_nGa1yq_sRFYGwCp3QkZBDZdu/s1600/page1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhi6SjE3-UbbbN-5ClVPwpqRJEEkCIxPbn4W-tr9Ucrm0PsdltkobHze5Brodhdqxpbdh_Et2zKn9AnX-_Md7LZkQfWP7_vQurm6OLK7u_AdA9tMgbcBCF_nGa1yq_sRFYGwCp3QkZBDZdu/s1600/page1.jpg" height="422" width="500" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Removed the top section of the 5th page, and take a further ¼ inch from each side as shown in the pic.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*******</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Glue pages 1 and 2 together {both solid pages}, Pages 3 and 4 together {both with holes}</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP6POY8Fx9niePGH2CnGCguZJMDXAVfUPNGCNT7XoYbBs_mV5E8nWk6Mcxks3VdcNj5nz564Kor5MVj66C4F1SUlLLEbLT12DJVd5UQsiH29pVgDsoK2kXY5inr_TgJk36fRlJxvkzmc30/s1600/page2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgP6POY8Fx9niePGH2CnGCguZJMDXAVfUPNGCNT7XoYbBs_mV5E8nWk6Mcxks3VdcNj5nz564Kor5MVj66C4F1SUlLLEbLT12DJVd5UQsiH29pVgDsoK2kXY5inr_TgJk36fRlJxvkzmc30/s1600/page2.jpg" height="422" width="500" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And finally pages 5 and 6, So you should end up with 3 pages in total at this stage. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Paint all the edges {I used white fresco paint}</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*******</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Take your chosen paper from the collection {I used <i>SD1004</i>} and cover the front-back, I just cut a strip from a sheet of 12x12 the height of the book {5½" x 12"} and trimmed the overlapping edges once stuck in place.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyeUAzEz6IZkqXXotsEuWMZbgGXQBqk2-FR2rfMxw7ErfVI3KhzP_foLmZhVOLZG8FJQg3hWDHPybLQ60HsZh0u0bEHSk41-1AYog-aZmxkbiJU9wjufih4wHFu5KDBKtS7NCjdTWkuNCh/s1600/page5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyeUAzEz6IZkqXXotsEuWMZbgGXQBqk2-FR2rfMxw7ErfVI3KhzP_foLmZhVOLZG8FJQg3hWDHPybLQ60HsZh0u0bEHSk41-1AYog-aZmxkbiJU9wjufih4wHFu5KDBKtS7NCjdTWkuNCh/s1600/page5.jpg" height="435" width="500" /></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I actually forgot to take pic before decorating but you get the gist</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*******</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Take a contrasting paper {I used <i>SD1005</i>} and cover the inside cover and first page, again using the same sized strip of paper as used on the outside.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
From behind {and on a cutting surface} slice a cross in the paper that covers the hole, snip edges and stick as shown in the pic below. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Add some of the same paper from the front in the last page gap, and also cut a piece of acetate {or packaging as I've used} the same size making sure it moves up and down freely in the channel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Glue the middle and back page.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Place the acetate into the channel.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You now have a photo frame.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyUbQqhPw9HlJrcNDtP6hylEoAYxd8Jrc3_LxU5LFpyUwJtHgs7wTPXwti4MrjTxEulr_WLYlBgQcD0o05t4ijY6G2y9EsQKFW0NUtZHaHT4e32_WW7_Z7OKGynXOeMOn_wZ6YQ1B2BdVD/s1600/page3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyUbQqhPw9HlJrcNDtP6hylEoAYxd8Jrc3_LxU5LFpyUwJtHgs7wTPXwti4MrjTxEulr_WLYlBgQcD0o05t4ijY6G2y9EsQKFW0NUtZHaHT4e32_WW7_Z7OKGynXOeMOn_wZ6YQ1B2BdVD/s1600/page3.jpg" height="640" width="513" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Use <i>Stickers</i> from kit and a white pencil/ neoII crayon round the stickers and blend in with finger, This beds them onto the page for a nicer finish.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Decorate the front and your done.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used some of the<i> lace</i>, <i>tiny holographic ric-rak</i> and <i>pink roses</i> from the kit, along with scraps left over from the papers used. But hay you can jazz yours up any way you like.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello again. Sorry to take so long to be back, the technology has failed me! As my camera has died I have been using my ipad to take photos. So far so good as the quality of the photos is better than with my camera even with my poor camera work. Next problem, how to load the photos here. I asked Mr Google and he said to download the Blogsy app and all would be well. Mmm can' t get the app to download!<br />
<br />
Inspiration hit - email the photos from said ipad to my laptop then business as usual. First, security on my laptop is sending emails from my ipad to spam where I can't retrieve them as I don't have a spam folder. Back to Mr Google who says windows doesn't have spam folders so where the heck are my emails going to then! Next, laptop will not allow me to use the internet even though it agrees I am connected, three hours later I get as far as search screen but as soon as I ask for blogger it tells me it is not responding grrrrr! But wait, another hour later laptop is finally allowing Mr Google to search for Mr Blogger. False dawn as six and a half hours from switching on I am still not able to blog from my laptop so no photos.<br />
<br />
I am going to write this post leave slots for the photos and edit them in when I can figure out what is going on with my laptop or how to download the requisite app to allow me to blog from the flash new ipad - blog without photos is a bit like eggs without the bacon I'm afraid!<br />
<br />
After all that, somehow boringly, as the DT Kit is called Save the Date I have made a little book to hold all the planning ideas and as I had a leftover graphic 45 box I made the book to fit inside that so photos can be added and it can be kept as a decorative item for posterity.<br />
<br />
Photo 2<br />
<br />
Photo 3<br />
<br />
There are 10 double pages which are below.......<br />

<br />
......by creating three sets of bound signatures which I then tied into the cover it seems to cope well with all the layers and leave room for any photos that might be added later - first time I have done this and it gives a really neat finish so I think it is something I will experiment with again.<br />
<br />
So there we have it, a book in a box!<br />
<br />

<br />
Many thanks for your patience - and if anyone out there understands my garbled problem and can tell me what I need to do to blog WITH PHOTOS directly from my ipad please, please, please feel free to enlighten me and I will try really hard not to fling it out the window in frustration meantime!<br />
<br />
Mrs Laptop is heading for the laptop hospital first thing Monday but as she is a little past her sell by, (bit like her owner really), I may have to consider (ssh) a replacement - oh my, I hope it doesn't give the Headmaster ideas lol!snazzyoriginalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16720980762294511557noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5720282595193525796.post-19879588132074533652014-04-02T19:27:00.001+01:002014-04-02T19:27:47.504+01:00DT Project #1 - Val - featuring Teresa Collins Save the DateHello there, a very quick post from me this evening with my first project with the pretty Save the Date collection. <br />

Okay, like i said earlier this week i LOVE this paper line by <a href="http://www.kaisercraft.com.au/newsite/index.php">Kaisercraft</a> Art of Life. there is so much that one can do with it!<br />
so for this project i decided in amongst the cleaning of my room.. which yes unfortunately, or fortunately seem to do at least once a month, that i needed to do something with this so i started by taking out my trusting tim holtz sander to sand off the gloss.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJwAkSzHXE8gqOPVmgpLDh-VhVSHT9p0_CFBN1_E1YG-xpkN5T5CJdU0UE2oDg1yAYdxPS8Y-OqsV-TfU4WJAbQ50B_cHNlZavfYM0fUwuElLPAGS_g4kgs-xdTLt84V1pgZMP0XsZkf8/s1600/IMG_9984.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJwAkSzHXE8gqOPVmgpLDh-VhVSHT9p0_CFBN1_E1YG-xpkN5T5CJdU0UE2oDg1yAYdxPS8Y-OqsV-TfU4WJAbQ50B_cHNlZavfYM0fUwuElLPAGS_g4kgs-xdTLt84V1pgZMP0XsZkf8/s320/IMG_9984.jpg" /></a></div>
then i cut and ink the inside pieces <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLHgsgKeFK-EM-KAhfHWga2U4F1gwqSLtkPSMftvBym7VGJ6LPWXButqanBk7WjVv1MMCvoXCKppToQLpBv2irkozI-qV6LAhVw5A0veGV7frkcAcvPtxtEqckBLxloUAU-ottKZRFgQ/s1600/IMG_9993.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLLHgsgKeFK-EM-KAhfHWga2U4F1gwqSLtkPSMftvBym7VGJ6LPWXButqanBk7WjVv1MMCvoXCKppToQLpBv2irkozI-qV6LAhVw5A0veGV7frkcAcvPtxtEqckBLxloUAU-ottKZRFgQ/s320/IMG_9993.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and glued them on with one of the bestest glues out there </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOjqYazivkJj4NW1c3KmWib0Ir9U13LQzYER_40CyjAPi419h7rh1jNeZtBIPXl4PKWTv3ek_xFuS7gaV1_61W2tx5fjkPlLJR2kE14VypG-QvxFuvlx_c1tGdP15r_VmqmotiWeldtG4/s1600/IMG_9994.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOjqYazivkJj4NW1c3KmWib0Ir9U13LQzYER_40CyjAPi419h7rh1jNeZtBIPXl4PKWTv3ek_xFuS7gaV1_61W2tx5fjkPlLJR2kE14VypG-QvxFuvlx_c1tGdP15r_VmqmotiWeldtG4/s320/IMG_9994.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
next it was time to do a bit of decorating to the outside. i added pieces of paper and some of that glorious lace to the front cover<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI_HLpyN3aJs60egRh6KZJn7jviwaokWH4OniN50pefE2hnWWfktqPEZeG28isXWnnZXYifQnIWD9LKcHK1YVOhseloG3BYu5Ls9xUvJ6XSeM4sPj0j7r8LKTzmnEM2EFzGE8CgCbcS7g/s1600/IMG_9995.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI_HLpyN3aJs60egRh6KZJn7jviwaokWH4OniN50pefE2hnWWfktqPEZeG28isXWnnZXYifQnIWD9LKcHK1YVOhseloG3BYu5Ls9xUvJ6XSeM4sPj0j7r8LKTzmnEM2EFzGE8CgCbcS7g/s320/IMG_9995.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5DvoBngWox5u4rWHB5oYLU-4xX4chsX5mdLawpPjviTveaq7ULF9VO37pJ2ShuPDuOjK6h3PDQDS4D1Oa_2GuiGGMUjksU46uBaYf_2udmousPC-nKdy1M9XYPhCUSVaBT27DlufFAxU/s1600/IMG_9996.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5DvoBngWox5u4rWHB5oYLU-4xX4chsX5mdLawpPjviTveaq7ULF9VO37pJ2ShuPDuOjK6h3PDQDS4D1Oa_2GuiGGMUjksU46uBaYf_2udmousPC-nKdy1M9XYPhCUSVaBT27DlufFAxU/s320/IMG_9996.jpg" /></a></div>
i then started just layer things.. trying to figure out what went where:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMq_fLhEH5XAocRU5RzsnpbGii_9CnpdVvBk-YCpSiAHYfTDDdvxJd7aigR_Qw1aZ9Y4-jjrlMVgwJyIEdpWaofiBmvl5KxZ7auhkBtinrZv8W9KRv02dqWS3o4QeadEcroBogeDKl-CQ/s1600/IMG_9997.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMq_fLhEH5XAocRU5RzsnpbGii_9CnpdVvBk-YCpSiAHYfTDDdvxJd7aigR_Qw1aZ9Y4-jjrlMVgwJyIEdpWaofiBmvl5KxZ7auhkBtinrZv8W9KRv02dqWS3o4QeadEcroBogeDKl-CQ/s320/IMG_9997.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj-DWwGwfs0uLbFR47A1rsHsCPW3I9MnvpIbTR1RjaznYlf3lHXaykmajIs1tlGrVA5leSRD7qi7ZpNFgRrCwdzVHOThPCnihJk7XtHGvy9LaAluuGtm0SlsWCCYiVx9KxOr9L4xLwVPk/s1600/IMG_9998.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj-DWwGwfs0uLbFR47A1rsHsCPW3I9MnvpIbTR1RjaznYlf3lHXaykmajIs1tlGrVA5leSRD7qi7ZpNFgRrCwdzVHOThPCnihJk7XtHGvy9LaAluuGtm0SlsWCCYiVx9KxOr9L4xLwVPk/s320/IMG_9998.jpg" /></a></div>
i didn't like the whiteness of the papers so i found in my stash some walnut crystals and thought would mix it with a bit of water.. i quite like how it turned out:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7bhhhNv-xjZ1Hqtu1wedT3kPrf0UhxcYvJ6E_4jUfdau2-iJXx6UymHIaWlDhFjcfinQ-60q0FsriwMdn2b4ddO7LSoegQWRLg9xWxJBkS8n1oDAnWczmj7WSgU_gjpNN5MmxeAcTOfE/s1600/IMG_0003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7bhhhNv-xjZ1Hqtu1wedT3kPrf0UhxcYvJ6E_4jUfdau2-iJXx6UymHIaWlDhFjcfinQ-60q0FsriwMdn2b4ddO7LSoegQWRLg9xWxJBkS8n1oDAnWczmj7WSgU_gjpNN5MmxeAcTOfE/s320/IMG_0003.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF32iz8qu3gZvEi0OVVV7B8hBK8N_urdNH9JQtg36aJ8HDWg-BY-Kt8LFh0eQOasNq7om_UPryJXfAmfQkkxjGYLan3tv74MNQPRPG3ZJCt62ysG5izsrlI9BqxKbYw2KCx82YFPkw85w/s1600/IMG_0004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF32iz8qu3gZvEi0OVVV7B8hBK8N_urdNH9JQtg36aJ8HDWg-BY-Kt8LFh0eQOasNq7om_UPryJXfAmfQkkxjGYLan3tv74MNQPRPG3ZJCt62ysG5izsrlI9BqxKbYw2KCx82YFPkw85w/s320/IMG_0004.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0Ew8qLk2-X4tpE_dO50ijByVzqMFaSzTcev3X4bS9lYp3398v5KWq-KrTSaeNQIO_DOYtLhVrywoY2Pbv-d6lSNMo4Ys1_2aNQGXeXhQuXrOstO_qdvxcw5oL_XoDUiXW1FBSYfs8kDI/s1600/IMG_0007.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0Ew8qLk2-X4tpE_dO50ijByVzqMFaSzTcev3X4bS9lYp3398v5KWq-KrTSaeNQIO_DOYtLhVrywoY2Pbv-d6lSNMo4Ys1_2aNQGXeXhQuXrOstO_qdvxcw5oL_XoDUiXW1FBSYfs8kDI/s320/IMG_0007.jpg" /></a></div>
now it was just a matter of final placing of everything. i had cut out the circles from one of the pages and folded them to make a flower. i then added one of tim's clock keys in the centre. some stickers from the sticker sheet along the bottom and a butterfly.<br />
i gave everything a final mist of walnut spray. i also added a couple of pieces fabric and lace that i received as part of a happy mail swap.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

for the inside it was a matter of stamping pages throughout the pad of paper and stamped the wooden pencil with some of the live/love words.<br />
<br />
i have to say it is one of my favourite projects yet and has already found a 'home'. thanks for sticking through the photo heavy post!!!!<br />

<br />
Hi, Lucy here with my final project using the Kaisercraft Art of Life collection, and another home decor item. I used a cardboard chest of drawers which was a horrible shade of green and had contained toiletries, so first of all I painted it with Fresco Finish Little Black Dress. The drawers had fabric drawer pulls which I decided to retain. I cut pieces of the various papers to fit the sides, base, and drawer fronts and stamped them with a selection of the stamps as before, using Smoky Grey and Onyx Black ink.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDzjxr2O0o-Fez8-y8VRo6EscIi6TDJIWAFVMUvnYmZvQ0cTSL6DB7R_e2Nz4oKuCg1Fp8yiTWFG_0cteMxu9tf2A99LVmA6YWfg0y-t5zylz_qKOrHhHPa1y7r7ErK7k_t2cGzmGpvOA/s1600/aol+chest+above.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDzjxr2O0o-Fez8-y8VRo6EscIi6TDJIWAFVMUvnYmZvQ0cTSL6DB7R_e2Nz4oKuCg1Fp8yiTWFG_0cteMxu9tf2A99LVmA6YWfg0y-t5zylz_qKOrHhHPa1y7r7ErK7k_t2cGzmGpvOA/s1600/aol+chest+above.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the leaves from the Art of Life stamp set onto the grid paper and made rolled roses from a die as before. I added some black die cut leaves and some pearls and arranged these on the top.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaCj4VMOBWiC2LXZrIEqQT4KZAPq0nvmNSTtuNCIDWKIIJY9HQ2h4LaFwSuWqpxcEEiSxpugR6GuFSDphYKfML8kBnn-AQe5RrM48YZtfCDW_uPobC_hi87-MwkrcxFob8eBoBUzZmV_U/s1600/aol+chest+left.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaCj4VMOBWiC2LXZrIEqQT4KZAPq0nvmNSTtuNCIDWKIIJY9HQ2h4LaFwSuWqpxcEEiSxpugR6GuFSDphYKfML8kBnn-AQe5RrM48YZtfCDW_uPobC_hi87-MwkrcxFob8eBoBUzZmV_U/s1600/aol+chest+left.jpg" height="266" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I wanted to use the knobs from the sticker sheet included in the paper pack so I cut into the centre of the circle of the knob and then cut out the centre and pulled the fabric pulley through it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
To finish off, I used black dominoes for the feet. I hope you have enjoyed my makes with this gorgeous range. Look out next week for beautiful artwork from my teamie, Diana, and don't forget to leave comments to be in with a chance in the prize draw!<br />

<br />
Hi, Lucy here again. For my second make this week I have made a card which could be given to the recipient when my two home decor items are given as gifts. It is an 8 x 8 stepper card so pretty big as I wanted to have scope to use plenty of the papers. I cut a panel of the film strip paper Thankful for the main front piece and two smaller pieces, one of the book paper Moments, and another piece of Thankful for the folded front pieces and a large piece of Moments for the inside panel. I stamped all over the pieces with a selection of the stamps with Smoky Grey and Onxy Black VersaFine in the same way as I did for the mirror, adding in a Kaisercraft set called Periwinkle which I just had to buy as it seemed to replicate the flowers in the designs.<br />
<br />
For the pop up piece on the front stepped section I die cut a doily shape out of the Remember paper (and an extra piece in black card for strength). I stamped leaves from the Art of Life stamp set onto the grid paper and made some rolled roses as for the mirror. I fussy cut a floral sprig and a butterfly from the Collectables pack and stamped Admit One from the Life Sentiments stamp set onto the little butterfly tag and assembled these onto the doily. I then adhered the bottom half to the front panel so that it popped. You can see the back of it below where the card is laid flat.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
To finish off, I added a plain Collectables tag inside the card to allow the greeting to be written. I will be back on Friday for my final make.<br />

<br />
Hi, Lucy here, with the first of three blog posts this week using this absolutely gorgeous kit from Kaisercraft Art of Life. This range lends itself perfectly to home decor items as it has a very subtle colour palette, which is my way of saying my husband would not give house-room to most of my gaudy creations! It was so easy to work with as it is impossible to 'overdo it', however many layers or embellishments you add.<br />
<br />
I added in some extra Kaisercraft stamp sets, Flutter, Everyday Sentiments, Everyday Friendship, and a grid stamp. I covered the mirror with the floral Everyday paper and used all of the stamps, including the Film Strip set from the kit, all over using Smoky Grey and Onyx Black VersaFine.<br />
<br />
I then fussy cut some large flower and leaf elements from Creative and Remember which I glued top right and bottom left. I used some of the paper to make some spiral roses top left and stamped some of the leaves from the Art of Life stamp set onto the Grid side of the Remember paper and added these, with some die cut leaves and one of the stick pin hearts from last month's kit. I edged the frame and the mirror with the lace included in our kits and used the tiny scrap that was left to add to the tiny 'Let Life Happen' tag from the Collectables pack on the left, and also used a butterfly from the pack on the bottom right.<br />
<br />
To finish off I stamped the words from the Art of Life stamp set onto the Grid side of the Remember paper and added an ornate frame. The frame was silver so I coloured it with a black alcohol based marker, added some brads, and raised it up on foam pads.<br />
<br />
I will be back again on Wednesday with my next make.<br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I created my project by cutting two ATC size pieces of kraft card. I stamped the film strip edge stamps all over the ATC's using second generation Orange Blossom archival ink to create a muted background.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">Next I torn sections of the Art of Life papers and added them to each side of the ATC's. I then added various elements from the kit to the ATC's - I coloured the butterflies using distress markers. There are so many wonderful elements in this kit - keys, butterflies, flowers, dominoes and some lovely sentiments too.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana,sans-serif;">I edged all the ATC's with Potting Soil archival ink then used my
crop-o-dile to add two eyelets to the left hand side. To finish I
attached the ATC's together into a little book using some of the lace
from the kit. </span></div>

Hi Snazzy fans!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Claire here this week to share my projects made with the beautiful Kaisercraft Art of Life collection. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
For my first project I really wanted to use a technique I recently saw from Ellen Vargo - brayering with paint. You can take a look at Ellen's blog <a href="http://1036art.blogspot.co.uk/">HERE</a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-v5O62lPIu-c/UxToRswllPI/AAAAAAAABXg/biXaLeFriVY/s1600/2014+-+1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-v5O62lPIu-c/UxToRswllPI/AAAAAAAABXg/biXaLeFriVY/s1600/2014+-+1" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I started by brayering a piece of white card with Paperartsy Fresco paints in Ice Blue, Lake Wanaka, Blush and Moonlight. I did this randomly and left some of the original white card still showing. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yZftf4KCWkM/UxTuN5L2ZZI/AAAAAAAABYU/Bi-SayDmtno/s1600/2014+-+1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yZftf4KCWkM/UxTuN5L2ZZI/AAAAAAAABYU/Bi-SayDmtno/s1600/2014+-+1" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I used the larger of the two leaf stamps in the kit to stamp all over the brayered background using black versafine ink. I cut the background piece down to size and added a piece of the wonderful linen ribbon that came in the kit this month. I mounted this onto black card stock before adding the sentiment from the kit. Finally the whole piece was added to a kraft DL card blank. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ywlwC-i7YMg/UxToRuQiTnI/AAAAAAAABXo/71O_6uqWLIc/s1600/2014+-+2" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ywlwC-i7YMg/UxToRuQiTnI/AAAAAAAABXo/71O_6uqWLIc/s1600/2014+-+2" height="320" width="239" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back again later in the week with another project using the Kaisercraft Art of Life kit!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Love Claire x</div>
